All the terrain is finally done for my Ligny scenario, all the troops are painted and I've cleared off all the junk from the table to start deploying troops. I started with the Prussians, getting out all the troops I would need and double-checking I had the right numbers.
The scenario is loosely based on the Commands & Colors version, but super-sized with some adjustments to troop numbers as a result.
I deployed the troops per the scenario in roughly the same locations. Once all the initial troops were down, I took the extras and beefed up the initial deployments, so where maybe the original scenario called for one landwehr unit (militia in C&C terms), I may have deployed 2-4 units. Let's take a look at how things shook out for Blucher.

Behind and between La Haye and Wagnalee (not pictured -- a lone landwehr battalion garrisons the village) is a mixed force, ready to plug any gaps. |

Taken from the Prussian lines, line infantry and jagers stand ready to defend St. Amand. |

Meanwhile, the streets of Ligny are clogged with line and reserve infantry, ready to defend the village against the hated French. |

Just across the river from Ligny, more reserve troops take up position in and around a church. |
