Yesterday afternoon, a car bomb outside St. Januarius killed a pair of priests from the church. Police say the bomb appeared to have been wired to their ignition. The deceased were identified and brought back within the church. Archdeacon Arminius could not be reached for comment at this time.
New ground is broken in Serrano as Oakley Security Services begins construction on a new field office. Newly appointed CEO Benedict Tolson states that this is in an effort to expand the availability of service in the crime-ridden city, while critics have criticized Oakley as an "abuser of the civil liberties we enjoy so much in our fair state." The construction contract was awarded to the Capella Group.
A drive-by shooting at the Lilypad Tea House has claimed the life of two bystanders and injured several others, including Councilwoman Holly Thorne, suspected to be the target of the attack. Police have not released any further information on the attack.
