Hello Readers,
It's time for another foundation review. I have been really enjoying using 'GOSH - Foundation Plus+ Creamy Compact' foundation. I found it in my draw last week and thought I need to give it a try and test again so I can review about it. So here is my review.

This foundation is from the brand 'GOSH Copenhagen'. It is a little bit more pricey then normal drug store brands, but the quality is amazing. This foundation retails at £9.99. For a foundation, that is a lot of money. So for a top-tip to get your moneys worth, its best to buy this brand when they have an offer on where you can buy 3 items for the price of 2. That's what I did. You also get 9g of product. Again not a lot of product for the money, but it is very good quality.

The foundation itself is stated as a 2 in 1. This being a cream to powder. I find that this can be suited to all skin types. Whether dry, sensitive, oily and normal skin. As it is applied, the formula is not very thick, nor is it heavy on the skin. Once blended into the skin, that's when it starts to appear as a powder. It is however still movable on the skin and doesn't stick in dry areas. The finish on this foundation is matte. If wanted more of a semi matte, I would recommend using an oil based primer.
I found foundation plus+ to be exactly as it stated on the packaging, full coverage. This is another thing that drew me into the product as I like my foundations to be full coverage. I did have to apply about 2 layers onto my skin for it to be really full coverage. But if you wanted it to have a medium coverage then you just need to apply 1 layer. It is very build-able.

I would recommend using a buffing brush to apply with, however this does come with a flat blending sponge. I have used that sponge before, a bit like applying a powder on the face. I just prefer to use a brush. That way you can also work out what sort of coverage you want.

Onto the packaging. It's quite small, like it can fit in the palm of your hand. It also feels very light, so would be perfect for on the go. Since using this, I have kept it in my bag as it fits perfectly and it not too chunky. I am so happy it also comes with a mirror. The packaging also comes with a second compartment (see image 4) where the sponge is kept. I tend to just leave this empty, as I tend to not open it. Saying that it is always great for products to have things like that as you can put things in them.
After using this foundation for the past week, I can say that this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and with a very natural finish. The foundation is very long-wearing. I did a wear test for about 6 hours and my skin felt great.

The shade range for this foundation is very poor. Only available in 4 shades. Ivory 002 (this being the lightest - and being my shade), Natural 004, Honey 006 and Golden 008 (being the darkest). I feel for a more higher costing drug store brand, there would have been a few more shades. That way from a business point of view, customers would be buying this product in their shade, and paying a higher cost.
My negatives about this foundation are the price and the shade range. Once again retailing at £9.99, I feel for the amount of product that you get (9g) the price could be a little lower. But then saying that, if you follow my top-tip with the 3 for 2 it does work out cheaper. Also, 4 shades are just not enough.

To finish, I would recommend this foundation. It does exactly what it states. The coverage is full, its a matte finish, its feels very light and it is very travel friendly. It gives me no flash backs in photos. The quality of this foundation is so good. So to end, you get what you pay for really, and it is definitlty worth a try.
