Conspiracy theory claims Solange is actually Beyoncé's daughter - SHEmazing

Posted: 20 May 2019 05:00 AM PDT

We've heard some crazy conspiracy theories in our day (Fake Paul McCartney, Cloned Avril Lavigne etc), but this one takes the cake.

A new claim which has been circulating online is suggesting that Beyoncé Knowles gave birth to Solange as a teenager, and is actually 45-years-old.

This would mean that the iconic singer was pregnant at roughly age 12 or 13, and the baby was raised by her parents as her sister. It also means that Queen Bey is seven years older than she claims to be.

The strange theory implies that Bey has rolled back the time on her age, and was born in 1974 instead of 1981. Solange is 32-years-old, and was born in 1986, so is five years younger than her world-famous older sis.

Beyoncé's given date of birth is September 4, 1981, meaning she would have been too young to have given birth to Solange. An online post was started by someone who claims to have worked at Bey's Columbia record label for four years.

The age-change rumours also assert that Beyoncé's cousin confirmed the Solange claim. The (insane) post stated: "Beyonce's precise birthdate is 9/4/1974.

"I saw a picture of her driver's licence that was on my manager's computer once don't ask how." (Oh, we're definitely asking how…) "Beyonce and Solange are both teenaged mothers, I do not know the paternity of Solange."

The post continues, writing: "I have heard many crazy things while working at Columbia for four years. The Beyonce stuff a close relative of hers told me so I am more prone to believe that.

"Bey's cousin told me Beyonce's daughter is Solange and she said it to me in confidence after the topic of teenage pregnancies came up. She is not the sarcastic type either so I doubt she would make something up that is so scandalous about her own cousin."

"If the story was true, it would make Beyonce a grandmother as Solange gave birth to a son, Daniel, when she was 18."

Actress Gabrielle Union claimed that herself and Beyonce have been friends "since we were teenagers", but Union is 46-years-old. If she was truly nine years older than Bey, they never would have been teens at the same time.

This comment has been one of the reasons why rumours were sparked, but we're not buying it. The lack of evidence is pretty ridiculous, but we can't help but be entertained by the theory. What do you gals think?

This American singer teaches Italian kids to sing like Beyoncé - PRI

Posted: 17 May 2019 11:15 AM PDT

Can you teach a young Italian boy to sing Beyonce's "Listen"?

Cheryl Porter can.

Porter is a voice coach and singer in Vicenza, in northern Italy. Her videos of Italian teens learning to sing like American rhythm and blues divas have gone viral on YouTube.

When Cheryl Porter arrived in Italy 23 years ago to deepen her study of opera, she was surprised by how much Italians cherished American music.

"It was just such a shock for me because I thought that in Italy, it was mostly classical music," Porter says. "I came to Italy to further my studies in Puccini, Verdi and Rossini and I never knew that there was so much love for American music, gospel, jazz, soul and R&B."

Porter was born and raised in Chicago South Side and in 1990, she went on to study opera after being offered a full vocal scholarship at Northern Illinois University's School of Music.

Now, more than two decades after settling in Vicenza, Porter is not only an accomplished performer who captivates international audiences with her rich and powerful voice, but she is also a voice coach. Children come to Porter's coaching sessions with big dreams of following in the steps of iconic American singers.

"Some of them are like, 'OK well, I want to sing like Frank Sinatra, I want to be like Beyoncé, I want to sing like Christina Aguilera, I want to sing like Alicia Keys' and I love it," Porter says. "It is incredible because these kids at 7 years old and they have passion and they have so much drive."

Besides focusing on vocals, Porter finds it important for her students to learn the historical and cultural context of a song. She speaks to her students about events relevant to a song and encourages them to read American history.

"Music is culture," Porter says. "Music is history and if you teach a song about 'Respect' and Aretha Franklin, you have to know where that comes from. You have to know something about the civil rights movement. You have to know something about human rights."

Porter says that "learning the original way" American performers sing is important for developing a good technique in young vocalists. Then, the next step is for artists to develop their own style and their own take on songs.

"It's not easy," she explains. "[Some singers] think, 'Well, who am I to have my own version of Aretha Franklin? Who am I to change a Beyoncé song?' But that's the way music works. I always tell my students 'Put your spice on this, put some salt and pepper on it.'"

And now, with her internet fame, Porter hopes bring her love of music across borders.

"If you want to [sing] professionally or if it's just your passion and you just love singing or do you like singing in the car or in the shower, there's something special about the human voice and there's something special about people who have the gift of singing."

Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles, announces new biographical Destiny’s Child musical - Yahoo Entertainment

Last week, Beyoncé dropped Homecoming, her impressive live album and concert film based on her groundbreaking 2018 Coachella set. The performance also served as a reunion for Destiny's Child, effectively reminding the masses of how amazing the girl group was back in the day. Now, per reports from Broadway World, a new musical is in development based on the Grammy-winning iconic '90s act.

Promising an "honest, behind-the-scenes look at how the greatest girl group of all time was created," the musical is the product of Destiny Child's former manager (and Bey's dad), Mathew Knowles. Told from his perspective, Survivor: The Destiny's Child Musical will follow the group from their humble beginnings to the peak of their stardom, addressing "the layers of evolution — good and bad — that Knowles faced during his pioneering climb into the music industry."

Explained Knowles in a statement, "I want to pull back the curtain… I feel it's time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I've had as a husband, father and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams – those of mine and others."

Prolific writer, producer, director, and Houston native Je'Caryous Johnson has been brought on for the forthcoming project. Most recently, he has served as the mastermind behind Redemption of a Dogg, a bio-musical on Snoop Dogg, and Set It Off Live, an adaptation of the 1996 cult classic. The director added,

"I am ecstatic to be working with Mr. Knowles on the development of Survivor: The Destiny's Child Musical... It is a unique and inspiring story that will fearlessly tackle hard truths, while bringing both vindication and healing to all who lived it. It's fair, it's real and it's an absolute honor to know that Mr. Knowles trusts me to pen and produce such an iconic piece of American history…

It is my mission to tell the stories of our legends and cement their legacies in the history of our world, but this one is very dear to me. As a native Houstonian, I have a special affinity for Destiny's Child because we are from the same city and it is one that breeds greatness! I can assure their fans, and mine, that I will give everything I have to this story and will make sure it is the greatest show they ever experience!"

The musical will premiere in Houston in 2020, with hopes of making its way to Broadway and London's West End.

Beyonce gave birth to Solange as a teen and is actually 44, according to wild theory - Irish Mirror

Posted: 11 May 2019 12:00 AM PDT

Beyonce gave birth to Solange as a teen and is actually 45, according to a wild conspiracy theory.

The claims, which have been circulated online, suggest the singer fell pregnant as a young teenager and the baby was raised by her parents as her sister.

In a bid to explain the strange theory, it's claimed that Beyonce is actually seven years older than she claims to be.

Her given date of birth is September 4th, 1981 - meaning she would have been too young to have given birth to Solange, who is 32 and was born in 1986.

However, the theory suggests Beyonce has rolled back the clock on her age and was actually born in 1974 - making her 44.

It would mean Beyonce would have been pregnant at 12 or 13.

The rumour is believed to have been started by an online post from someone who claimed to have spent four years working at Beyonce's Columbia record label.

They shared an in-depth of the unfounded age-change rumours, and claiming Beyonce's cousin confirmed Solance was actually the singer's daughter.

The post stated: "Beyonce's precise birthdate is 9/4/1974.

"I saw a picture of her driver's licence that was on my manager's computer once don't ask how.

"Beyonce and Solange are both teenage mothers, I do not know the paternity of Solange."

The poster goes on to explain where she heard the baby story, writing: "I have heard many crazy things while working at Columbia for four years.

"Bee's cousin told me Beyonce's daughter is Solange and she said it to me in confidence after the topic of teenage pregnancies came up.

"She is not the sarcastic type either so I doubt she would make something up that is so scandalous about her own cousin."

If the story was true, it would make Beyonce a grandmother as Solange gave birth to a son, Daniel, when she was 18.

The theory has done the rounds online and many believe they've found proof that Beyonce is lying about her age.

It stems from an interview given by actress Gabrielle Union, who claimed that she and Beyonce have been friends "since we were teenagers".

Gabrielle is 46 and was born in 1972 - so it's impossible for her to have been a teenager at the same time as Beyonce if the singer was born in 1981 as she claims.

Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Bradley Cooper and more stars skip this year's Met Gala - USA TODAY

Celine Dion, Billy Porter, Lena Waithe and more celebrities take over the Met Gala red carpet and explore the theme, "Notes on Fashion." Josmar Taveras, USA TODAY

Plenty of stars went all out for the 2019 Met Gala. But a few who normally frequent the biggest night in fashion were noticeably absent from this year's festivities.

So who was missing and where were they Monday night?

1. Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper was one of the 183 people approved by Vogue editor Anna Wintour for this year's gala committee, according to E! and The Hollywood Reporter. But the "A Star is Born" actor was noticeably absent from the red carpet. He's currently in Los Angeles working as a producer on post-production of "Joker," the Joaquin Phoenix-led "Batman" origin story, publicist Nicole Caruso told USA TODAY.

Still in attendance? His longtime girlfriend, Irina Shayk, who dazzled in a dark blue velvet Burberry gown

2. Blake Lively (and Ryan Reynolds)

More members of the committee that were MIA: Blake Lively and hubby Ryan Reynolds. The couple usually turns heads and gives us and major couple goals, but neither made an appearance.

Could the couple still be traveling in promotion of Reynolds's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu?" USA TODAY reached out to the couple's representatives for comment.

3. Beyoncé

Queen Bey hasn't been on the Met Gala red carpet since 2016 and it appears we'll have to wait at least another year. Beyonce and Jay-Z have been silent on social media. Entertainment Tonight reports the couple is on vacation.

4. Rihanna

Last year, Rihanna served as one of three guest co-hosts alongside Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace. She was missing this year but posted a shot of Anna Wintour with the caption "best dressed" and added the caption "met ball 2019 😩🤷🏿‍♀️" to a fan's tweet speculating she was "at home playing with that (expletive) makeup."

5. Brie Larson

Captain Marvel herself may have been featured in that iconic 2017 Kardashian bathroom selfie, but Larson sat this year out. She didn't explain why, but posted a selfie on Instagram Monday night that she was "in sweats while I watch everyone else at #metball."

6. Kate Hudson

Though she skipped this year's red carpet, she did share a photo of herself getting ready before the 2017 gala. "#MissingTheNightNotTheHangover ;)" she wrote.

7. Taylor Swift

There's only one of Taylor Swift, and she wasn't at the Met Gala this year. With the release of her single, "ME!" and a new album on the horizon, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for another appearance. The singer, who was photographed walking in London on Sunday, may still be out of the country.

Swifties have also theorized that the 2016 Gala is when Swift met boyfriend Joe Alwyn. The song "Dress" from her "Reputation" album includes the lyrics: "Flashback to when you met me / Your buzz cut and my hair bleached." Indeed, Swift had bleached-blonde hair on the red carpet that year, while Alwyn rocked a short 'do.

8. Sarah Jessica Parker

Another Met Gala mainstay, Parker revealed on Instagram that she was in New York City on Monday, but would be "traveling out of country this eve."

9. Ariana Grande

After Grande made a marvelous Met Gala debut in 2018 with her Sistine Chapel gown, we would have loved to see her take on camp. Alas, the "Thank U, Next" singer had a previously scheduled tour date in Los Angeles on Monday.

10. Chadwick Boseman

The "Black Panther" star got another invite this year, but announced on Twitter that he would be unable to attend "due to my shooting schedule." He may have been referring to Spike Lee's Netflix Vietnam veteran drama, in which Deadline and Variety reported he was cast earlier this year.

What Is Jay-Z's Net Worth? - TheStreet.com

Posted: 13 May 2019 07:41 AM PDT

Hip-hop is, by a staggering amount, easily the biggest genre of music in the world. Spotify's most-played lists are dominated by the biggest names in the genre today, and some of the most successful rappers of the last two decades are revered as icons.

One of the biggest rappers of that time period is Jay-Z. Born Shawn Carter in Brooklyn, Jay-Z became one of the few real examples of a self-made multimillionaire, carving out a name for himself, becoming one of the highest-selling rappers of all time and practically redefining the term multi-hyphenate with his various business projects.

With over 100 million records sold around the world in his career and a media empire, how much is the hip-hop legend worth?

Jay-Z Net Worth

Forbes recently published a list of hip-hop's most wealthy artists, and Jay-Z came first with an estimated net worth of $900 million. The only other rappers anywhere near his worth were Diddy and Dr. Dre, both more business moguls than rappers now, and he was well ahead of stars like Eminem and Drake. Jay-Z has never stopped working since even before he got famous, and never stopped adding new projects and business endeavors. Now, he's a near millionaire. Combined with the similarly impressive net worth of his wife Beyoncé, a legend of her own, and you've got one supremely wealthy family.

Jay-Z's Career

Jay-Z, at this point, has several careers. Let's start with the obvious one.

Music

Frustrated with his inability to find a label that would sign him, Jay co-created Roc-a-Fella Records, an independent label. After finding a distributor, his debut album "Reasonable Doubt" was released in 1996. An instant hit with critics, it achieved enough chart success (including the single "Dead Presidents" getting certified Gold) to get him noticed by a wide audience - as well as a new distributor: Def Jam Records.

With his new distribution deal, he released "In My Lifetime, Vol. 1," an album that sold well but failed to produce a major hit single. But ever the prolific artist, in 1998 he put out his third album in three years, "Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life." It was his breakout from respected artist to superstardom, an album that went platinum 5x over and got Jay his first top 20 singles, "Can I Get A..." and "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)." Both went platinum.

1999 saw the release of yet another album, "Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter," another multiplatinum album, and saw him reach another milestone: his first appearance on a Billboard number one hit, thanks to a verse on Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker."

Though he never reached album sales like he did with "Vol. 2," Jay cranked out hit album after hit album and continued to climb the charts with his own singles. 2000's "The Dynasty: Roc La Familia" saw him reach new heights of his own on the Billboard Hot 100 as "I Just Wanna Love U (Give it to Me) peaked at No. 11, his highest yet on his own track. The next year, "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)," off "The Blueprint," would be his first solo top 10 hit.

His 2002 followup "The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse" ended up being his highest-selling album since Vol. 3, and featured first first top five hit in "03 Bonnie & Clyde," a duet with Beyoncé. Following that up with "The Black Album" in 2003 with hits like "99 Problems" and "Dirt Off Your Shoulder," Jay-Z had released eight albums in eight years. He was one of the biggest stars in all of music, and one who received significant critical acclaim as well.

After these eight albums, Jay claimed to be retiring from making albums, but was still a force in music, releasing a collaborative EP with Linkin Park in 2004. He returned to albums with "Kingdom Come" in 2006, which was his seventh straight album to top the charts and spawned a top 10 hit in "Show Me What You Got." But it ended up being his lowest-selling album since 1997. His 2007 follow-up, "American Gangster," sold even less. Yet Jay's star power was such that both of them went platinum.

Jay-Z returned to music dominance in 2009 with "The Blueprint 3," which saw his first ever number one hit where he was credited as the main artist: "Empire State of Mind," featuring Alicia Keys.

Now both rap royalty and one of the most relevant stars in the world, Jay-Z had the ability to make whatever he wanted. What he wanted was "Watch the Throne," a collaborative effort with Kanye West that proved to be yet another chart-topping platinum hit.

In fact, Jay-Z still hasn't done a solo album that didn't top the charts since Vol. 1 in 1997. His last two albums, 2013's "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" and 2017's "4:44," each topped the Billboard 200. In 2018, he and Beyoncé teamed up as The Carters to put out the album "Everything is Love." They had to settle, unfortunately... for No. 2.

Rocawear

In 1999, Jay and his co-creators at Roc-A-Fella expanded and created Rocawear, a fashion retailer. As his star grew, so did Rocawear. By the time Iconix Brand Group bought the company in 2007 for $204 million, the New York Times reported that its annual sales totaled $700 million. Despite the huge sale, he decided to retain his stake in the company and maintain a role with it.

Roc Nation Sports

One of his most surprising ventures was in 2013, when it was announced that Jay-Z was creating a sports agency, partnering with Creative Arts Agency to make Roc Nation Sports. Jay-Z was going to become an agent, focusing on baseball and basketball (having to give up another successful investment, a share of the Brooklyn Nets in the process).

Roc Nation was seen as something of a joke when it was first announced. It was seen as much less of a joke when then-Yankees superstar Robinson Cano dropped Scott Boras, the biggest agent in baseball, to join Roc Nation. And it was seen as even less of a joke when Roc Nation got Cano a 10-year contract worth $240 million from the Seattle Mariners between the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

Roc Nation Sports still exists today, and boasts clients like:

  • CC Sabathia, New York Yankees pitcher
  • Yoenis Cespedes, New York Mets outfielder
  • Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors forward
  • JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver
  • Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams running back
  • Jeremy Lin, Toronto Raptors point guard

According to Forbes, through September 24, 2018, Jay-Z had made $28.9 million in agent commissions that year.

Tidal

In 2015, Jay-Z purchased Aspiro, a Norwegian company that ran a music streaming service called Tidal.

Tidal's big selling point that was meant to separate it from services like Spotify was its lossless audio. It also, at the start, had the selling point of having exclusive rights to artists like Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Kanye West. However, that exclusivity and the high subscription price that came with the high-quality audio also drew substantial criticism.

Live Nation

One of Jay-Z's most enduring partnerships has been with Live Nation Entertainment, who originally signed a 10-year contract with him in 2008 to produce and promote his events.

In 2017, as that deal was coming to an end, it was announced that Live Nation had agreed to another 10-year contract with Jay, this time worth $200 million.

OMARI HARDWICK EXPLAINS THE INFAMOUS BEYONCE KISS: 'I WAS THINKING ABOUT MY DAUGHTER' - BCK

Posted: 17 May 2019 10:15 AM PDT

Do you remember the kiss felt around the Beyhive that got Omari Hardwick dragged on social media? Well, the Power actor says that things were not as they may have appeared. Omari recent revealed that he was thinking about his daughter, Nova, during his interaction with Beyonce at this year's NAACP Image Awards.

According to Hardwick, Beyonce and Jay-Z were two of many celebrities who expressed concern about his daughter's recovery after learning that Nova scratched her cornea. "She has ironically been injured in two very historical moments for me," Omari shares exclusively with Global Grind. "Her cornea was scratched the night of the Image Awards," he explains. "The length of [my] talk with Jay was him asking me about her eye. The length of the hug with Bey was her asking about her eye. I give the speech and I bring up her eye."

Of course, viewers at home did not hear the conversation that Omari Hardwick had with Jay-Z before giving Beyonce hugs and kisses. They only saw the double kiss and equated the act with something inappropriate.

"In the extension of the length of the hug with a friend named Beyoncé, I was thinking and talking about Nova," Omari Hardwick doubles down. "My honor and my respect for women – while you have idiot fanbases who go 'Watch your wife around Omari' – I got a wife (A), so f*ck you. I love you, but f*ck you (B). (C), I respect women so much prior to Nova being born that once Nova got to Earth… man, it doubled my respect for women. But I had it already 'cause I had a pop, who validated my existence as a man, so I didn't think demeaning women was ever cool."

Omari Hardwick and his wife, Jennifer, have two children – Nova and Brave – together. Stay tuned for more celebrity dad news!

Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper Weren’t Supposed To Be In ‘A Star Is Born’ - Latin Times

Posted: 16 May 2019 06:00 AM PDT

Lady Gaga played one of the lead roles in the 2018 movie "A Star Is Born." The award-winning singer received countless praises for her exemplary performance as Ally.

But according to multiple sources, the "Bad Romance" singer wasn't the first choice to play the part. Talks about releasing a fourth "A Star Is Born" remake started in 2011, and Beyoncé was attached to the project. But since she was pregnant at that time, production didn't push through. Prior to her pregnancy announcement, Beyoncé confirmed that she has met with director Clint Eastwood for the movie.

"I didn't think I would ever get the opportunity to be the star," Beyoncé said. "I met with Clint and I was so nervous, and I know that this is the biggest opportunity of my life," she added.

Bradley Cooper, who played the role of Jackson Maine, wasn't also supposed to play the role. If Beyoncé was cast in the film in 2011, she would have been paired with Christian Bale, Leonardo di Caprio, Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp.

Following the delay, Cooper and Gaga were both cast in "A Star Is Born" as leads. But even then, some people at Warner Bros. needed convincing that Lady Gaga was suited for the part. Producer Bill Gerber revealed that he and Cooper encouraged those that didn't believe in the singer to give her a chance.

"Bradley believed in her, and Warner's was generous enough to budget a proper screen test," Gerber said. "It was unanimous until we did the test, and when they saw it, it took them seconds to say yes," he added.

"A Star Is Born" was released in October 2018, and it also featured Sam Elliott as Bobby, Dave Chappelle as Noodles, Anthony Ramos as Ramon and more. Gaga earned a Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Ally.

The film also received a BAFTA Award for Best Film Music, Satellite Award for Best Cinematography and Satellite Award for Best Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical.

Beyoncé And Solange Are Not Sisters, But Mother And Daughter - Demotix.com

Posted: 16 May 2019 12:20 PM PDT

Singer exposed in a shock statement: Beyoncé's associate says she and Solange are not sisters, but mother and daughter. There has been a lot of gossip lately around Beyoncé, that her sister Solange is her daughter. In addition, some believe the iconic actress is seven years older than she really is, meaning 44 instead of 37.

A former associate of hers started these rumors, as they say the pop diva gave birth to Solange while still very young, 12 or 13 years old to be more precise, so her parents raised them as sisters.

source:dailyactive.info

"Her cousin told me Beyoncé is the mother of Solange. She told me this in confidence, while we were talking about teen pregnancies. The cousin in question is not of sarcastic nature, so I doubt they would come up with something as scandalous and controversial as this," said the source for Daily Mirror.

source:dailyactive.info

They added that the pop star was not born in 1981 as she claims. "I saw a picture in her drivers' license, which was on my manager's personal computer. Her exact birth date is September 4, 1973", claims the source.
In addition, they revealed that actress Gabriel Union who is 46, once said that she has known Beyoncé since they were kids. Therefore, media suggests that Beyoncé was truly born in 1974, and that she would soon turn 45.

source:dailyactive.info

Beyoncé has not yet commented on this latest development.
The singer has a 7 year old daughter Blue Ivy with the rapper and music producer Jay Z. Moreover, she brought twins to the world around two years ago, a bot and a girl.
