Tips on applying a Blush perfectly

Since ancient times blush has been one of the most important makeup entity in a woman's kit. There were times when ladies used to use lipsticks for the purpose of blush. However, with all the advancements, we now have blushes of different varieties, colors and brands that can work quite well in getting that wonderful color on your cheeks.

If you are amongst those who still rely on using your lipsticks as blush, then you must give regular blushes a try as our cheeks usually have higher skin temperature and they may separate the lipstick from your foundation base, making it look blotchy on your cheeks. One rule of thumb is that even if your blush and lipstick don't have the same shade, they should belong to the same color group at the least.

Blush must always and only be applied on the apple of your cheeks. To figure out the apple of your cheeks, you can simply smile broadly and notice the uplifted area of your cheeks. This is the place where a blush must be applied.
